On Sat. March 2, 2002... Showcase Magazine made history
by Bringing you Halls of Alcohol..An All Ages events where ladies get in Free
with a Shot at the Door...The Event was held on the outskirts of Montebello
adjacent to a river bed which made for a great setting...The crowd Started
rolling in about 9:30p.m. and didn't stop from then.....There were a couple
of false calls that it might have ended early as the ghetto bird swirled on
top checking out the party, but it was just some bacon checkin out the chicks
on the Go-Go boxes playing a little Strip tease for the party...Overall you
know your party rocked when at about 12:30 a.m. Cops block off the whole neighborhood
and surround the party in Full On RIOT GEAR...YES Riot Gear!!!...Helmets..Face
Masks..Sticks..Pepper Spray....This was the magnitude of Showcase's first
party...not that it got too out of hand, but that there were just too many
heads....Not bad for a 2 week Promotion either!! So by popular demand Showcase
is already in the Planning for their next Event so keep posted as Showcase
will try to out do itself and bring you another quality event!!!! Peace....
